How to Connect Your Facebook Business Page to Your Instagram Business Profile
Connecting your Facebook Business Page to your Instagram Business Profile can save you time and effort when it comes to social media marketing for your business. Doing this will allow you to share posts to Facebook directly from Instagram, run ads, create promotions, view insights, and more! Before you’ll be able to connect your profiles, make sure your Instagram account (the one you use for your business) is a Professional Account, not a Personal Profile. You can check by clicking “Edit Profile” on your Instagram. If “Switch to Professional Account” is an option, select it and fill out your business information. If you’ve already done this, you’re ahead of the game!
Connect your Facebook Business Page
You’ll need to have Admin status on your Facebook Business Page to give Instagram access. Go to your Facebook Page Settings and select “Page Roles” to make sure you have the right permissions. Go back to your Instagram Business Page, click “Edit Profile” and add your Facebook Page under Public Business Information. Once that’s all set, you’ll be able to select your Facebook Page when you publish posts on Instagram and automatically post to both!
Posting from Instagram to Facebook
This part is easy! Once you’re all connected and ready to post, open Instagram, upload your photo, and write your caption. Before you post, scroll down past where you’ll input the location of your photo and select your Facebook Business Page. If it doesn’t show up, double-check your connection or refresh the app by completely closing and opening it again.
